We were thrilled to be part of this years 181st Hadleigh Show with the Suffolk Horse Society. Holbecks Park is 20-minutes from Lavenham and I am pleased to announce that they had a wonderful turn out with friends and families from all over the county and further afield. We even spoke to one lady visiting with her family from Chile!

The Suffolk Horse Society stand was next to the livestock rings and the Grand Ring for the heavy horses where there was a mix of classes including Best Foal, Best Horse in Harness and Supreme Champion Best Suffolk Horse. I believe this show is a qualifier for the Supreme Suffolk Horse Championship. All very important stuff!

John dressed in civvies and Holly in her Land Girl uniform were book signing throughout the day, meeting and greeting visitors and sharing our stories about the book ‘Chesnut and Daphne’ with the next generation.

The Suffolk Punch horse is more endangered than the Giant Panda and the Suffolk Horse Society raise funds to ensure the horse has a future by supporting the owners and breeders.

Thank you to everyone who turned up and organised the event, brought a ‘Chesnut and Daphne’ book and became members of the Society – it was a fabulous day had by all.
